It’s looking more glittery than ever here at Hobbledown with the arrival of a sparkling new award for our trophy cabinet.
Hobbledown has won top prize in an awards ceremony that celebrates excellence within the leisure industry.
It was a double celebration as our sister site Kidspace Croydon scooped the runner-up silver award.
The awards were hosted by BALPPA (The British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers & Attractions) which has been supporting the UK Leisure Industry for over 80 years.
Hobbledown won the category of ‘Attraction Of The Year 2017 Over 12,000 sqft’ after being judged by an independent panel of industry experts, as well as a Mystery Shopper, who were looking for the best facilities in the industry, set apart from their competitors.
The inaugural Excellence Awards took place at Drayton Manor Hotel and winners had to demonstrate how they constantly achieve high levels of standards across all aspects of the business.
Taken into account were visitor numbers, examples of customer satisfaction and commitment to excellence customer service.
