Kick start 2016 summer as you mean to go on and join us when Gorilla Circus sets up home at Hobbledown for a week in July.
Clear your diaries as you will not want to miss this outdoor flying trapeze school as it swings into town from Saturday July 23rd to Wednesday July 27th.
Suitable for ages 7 to 99, participants can choose from:
* Bite-size adrenaline hit on the giant swing. Cost £7
* Two hour session where circus wannabees are taught basic tricks on the ground before being taken to the high platform to try them out in the skies. Cost £35
There will also be a chance to watch the pros in action when they stage their own jaw-dropping show just for us on our launch day – Saturday July 23rd.
Workshops are pre-bookable and early booking is strongly advisable, although a limited number of drop-in sessions will be available on a first come first served basis on the day.

Is it safe?
Yes, everyone wears a safety belt when flying and we have a huge safety net to make sure your landing is a soft one.
No, Gorilla Circus has a philosophy of making circus accessible for all. Our instructors will work to your strengths and there is nothing better for improving strength and fitness than flying trapeze!
Any comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. Baggy clothes and jeans are not suitable for classes.
What if it rains?
A little rain never hurt anyone and the activity will still go ahead. Tickets are non-refundable, unless there is lightening when we will do our best to accommodate you in a different slot, or if this is not practicable you will be refunded your fee.
What is the age/height/weight limit?
For our classes we take students from 7+. Adults are welcome too. There are no height limitations, just a 100kg weight restriction. All students need to be able to wear a safety belt which extends to around 40 inches.
How many people are in the 2 hour class?
There are 10 spaces available in each class.
Absolutely! Get them to bring a camera to capture your moment of glory. But all guests will need to pay the Hobbledown general admission fee for the day. This allows guests to stay and play at our adventure park and zoo all day (regardless of when their allocated Gorilla Circus booking slot is).
