Be part of Love Your Zoo week and enjoy a variety of fun activities for you and your family.
The nationwide celebration is being run by BIAZA, the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums, and aims to promote the good work done by member organisations such as Hobbledown.
It takes place throughout May Half Term 2014 [Monday May 26th to Friday May 30th] and culminates with a special appearance by broadcaster Bill Oddie.
Bill is best known as a birdwatcher, author, actor and naturalist and will join the Hobblers between 11:30am and 3:30pm on Friday May 30th.
During his visit he will host a question and answer session, wildlife walk and teach youngsters about the important conservational role zoos play and how beneficial they are when it comes to introducing humans to wildlife.
There will be plenty of other activities held at Hobbledown throughout the week including competitions, animal talks and shows.
