Shadow a Falconer For the Day
-Be a part of Team Coda!
Minimum age: 16 years old

You will be working alongside our staff throughout the opening hours of the day, and will be help out with all general duties, including cleaning the aviaries, weighing the birds before their public flying displays, food preparation, and general maintenance around the falconry centre!
Then it’s onto practical falconry where you will be taught how to tie the falconer's knot, how to pick up and put down down a bird of prey safely onto a perch, and general bird husbandry and welfare.
When you’ve got to grips with the basics, you can help the Coda Falconry team to fly the birds throughout the day as well as give them the vital exercise that they need in order to maintain good health.
You can also be involved in our public flying demonstrations (if you wish!) where you will use the knowledge you have gained throughout the day and help our falconers fly some of our birds to a public audience for a 30-minute demonstration.
