How can we help?

Visitor Information Hounslow FAQs

Yes, Direct Debit memberships are available on Anytime Memberships only.

As Hobbledown has a Zoo on site this is not possible. The only exception to this is assistance dogs, although some areas are excluded such as our walkthroughs and where animal demonstrations take place.
We ask for assistance dogs to be leashed in order to prevent potential nose to nose contact with some of our animals or undue stress to their welfare and well-being.
Additionally, as we do daily walks with some of our animals such as reindeer, this is for the safety of the assistance dog, the handler, the zoo animals and the team.
If it is not possible to leash your assistance dog, please alert one of our team upon arrival so that we can better assist you during your visit experience.
Please be warned that the car park is very open and provides very little shade. Dogs die in hot cars, so please keep them safe by leaving your pets at home.

Like many other firms in our industry we must contend with rising costs which include our booking transaction costs too. We cannot continue absorbing these fees and so we have taken the decision to introduce a £1 booking fee per transaction which will help recoup some of the fees we are charged. All guests still benefit from a discount off General Admission if booking online in advance.

Party Hownslow FAQs

We do not include free party bags with our parties - very often these are thrown away or abandoned, which is not good for Hobbledown Heath or the planet!

We do offer optional add-on extras, which include our Hobbledown Heath themed Party Gifts, for £3 each.

Helping customers celebrate their special occasion safely is something we are passionate about at Hobbledown Heath. This means protecting people who may have allergies or intolerances.

The introduction of Natasha’s Law (The UK Food Information Amendment) came into force on 01/10/21. This means any birthday cakes, cupcakes or party celebration cakes brought into our venues by the party organiser must be either shop bought or baked by a reputable baker/cake maker. By law these suppliers will have to supply the allergens information.

Unfortunately homemade cakes will no longer be allowed to be brought into birthday parties.

It is your responsibility as organiser of the party to ascertain any allergies that your guests may have and take appropriate action.

Information required on your cake are below:

  • Name of supplier (if not shop bought)
  • Full ingredients list, with allergenic ingredients emphasised (for example in bold, italics or a different colour).

Each guest and the host will receive a link to enable attendees to declare any dietary requirement before the party day. Please complete this no later than 7 days prior to the party so that our Hobnosh team can prepare your feast.

Yes, you will need to include the party child in your booking numbers, along with the other guests.

If the host would like to book any party extras, these can be added at the time of booking or any time up to 7 days prior to the party date.

Each paid party child gets their 1 free accompanying adult, and the birthday child gets two!

You are welcome to bring extra siblings or adults on top of this, but they will require their own admission ticket which must be purchased in advance of the party date. They will not be included in the party activity or feast, but will be able to enjoy the rest of Hobbledown Heath in the meantime.

Wear your best playwear; we recommend long sleeve tops, trousers, and trainers/full shoes along with sun cream, wellies and raincoats in line with Mother nature’s preference of the day.

School & Education Hownslow FAQs

Unfortunately, school visits do not get access to the Great Barn.

500 is the biggest school group we have booked to date, so numbers are not an issue. However, we will always insist that there is a minimum 15 to qualify as a school visit, with a ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children.

If you have a very small school or only want to treat a very select number of pupils, then 15 is the minimum. All bookings need to be made in advance.

As long as you like, essentially! On off-peak days, we open at 9.30am and close at 5.30pm (teachers – if you manage that long we will give you a special medal!)

Yes - visit the Merchant's Shop, where there are lots of fabulous souvenirs that can be purchased. Our shop is not big, so we ask that you visit in small groups, and that all children are supervised.

Hobblers are not unreasonable people, so if there is a genuine issue we will do our very best to accommodate any changes.

We have a risk assessment and guidelines that can be used. Please email hounslowinfo@hobbledown.com for a copy.

All invoices need to be paid in full 14 days before your visit. Bookings will be cancelled 14 days before where payment has not been received.

The cancellation of bookings can be honoured up to 4 weeks before the booking date with no charge.

Please note the below charges if cancellations are required closer to the booked date:

Bookings cancelled within 28 days of their booking date - 50% of the invoice amount will be payable.

Bird of Prey Hownslow FAQs

No, you do not - Coda Falconry is based within Hobbledown Heath, so you will need to enter the park to get to your experience, but all experiences already include park admission within their price.

Lunch is not included in these packages; however, there are cafe facilities on the site, and you are welcome to bring your own food and drink if you wish.

The following experiences are completely suitable for disabled guests: 1 hour falconry, 2 hour falconry, Shadow a Falconer, Meet Loki the Raven and Beginner Photography Workshop! Other experiences may be unsuitable as they involve walking on uneven, natural land. However, please do contact one of our team if you have a query with regards to suitability, as we can often modify experiences to suit most needs.
