What you need to know...

  • Please note: the time slot you have booked is for your Gripped Adventure - you can arrive at Hobbledown Heath anytime after opening!
  • Under 15s will need a ticket-holding adult to participate with them on the Zip Trek and High Ropes. Participating adults must also have an adventurer pass.
  • Under 15s will need a supervising adult present for the Speed Slides, Bag Jump and Power Fan. This adult does not need their own Gripped ticket, but must have an entry ticket into Hobbledown Heath
  • If you are over 15 but under 18, you will need to have an adult over 18 present onsite. This adult will need to have a valid ticket to enter Hobbledown Heath
  • The minimum weight for Gripped is 20kg, and the maximum weight is 120kg
  • 1.4m is the minimum height for the Adventurer Pass, and 1.3m is the minimum height for the Junior Adventurer Pass.
  • Guests enjoying the Adventurer pass should allow 3-4 hours to complete their 3 activities, and guests on the Junior Adventurer pass should allow 2 hours to complete their activities. This will of course vary and will depend on the fitness and skill levels of the participant.

What should I wear?

In order to keep you safe on our courses, you have to show up dressed appropriately on the day!

SHOES: Closed-toe shoes - secure trainers with a good grip are highly recommended. No crocs, sliders, flip-flops, sandals or high heels, please.

CLOTHING: Comfortable, movable clothing. No skirts - shorts or trousers only. Long-sleeved shirts are recommended, but t-shirts are also acceptable.

GLOVES: While not mandatory, thin, protective gloves are recommended if you're planning on doing the High Ropes or Zip Trekking. We have these available to buy when you arrive, at £4 a pair.

HAIR: Long hair must be tied up and secured in a low style, and free from any accessories. This is to allow for a helmet to be safely and securely worn.

JEWELLERY: Avoid jewellery where possible.

OTHER BELONGINGS: No loose items are allowed on any activity - strap it all in! Phones and other valuables should not be taken up on the course with you. Please remove rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings before you partake in any activity. We have a designated area where you can stow belongings while on the course.
