Huck and the rest of the Hobblers will come to life for even more children now 11 Surrey libraries stock our book.
Hobbledown has donated 25 of its books to the library service.
Written by children’s author Angela Kecojevic, Hobbledown the Book combines reality with fantasy and follows the adventures of a lively bunch of characters including Professor Topperpot, Sludgebucket, Huck, Fern the Fairy and the mischievous Skibblers.
Hobbledown’s duty manager David Moore said: “Reading is essential for children for a number of reasons. It helps keep their mind active and growing, boosts imagination and helps improve their vocabulary.
“We want all children to discover a love of reading and we hope that donating our book will help towards this.”
Libraries that will stock Hobbledown the Book are Epsom, Ewell, Ewell Court, Stoneleigh, Dorking, Banstead, Ashtead, Leatherhead, Cobham, Bookham and Tattenhams.
