Tulip Patch FAQs
If you’re arriving by car, the nearest car park is Hobbledown Heath’s car park on Staines Road. This car park is managed by a separate company, and pay stations can be accessed within the car park. Parking costs £1 per hour. Free drop-off and pick-up are allowed provided this is done within 30 minutes. Please see individual machines for more details.
While the main site (Hobbledown Heath) is wheelchair accessible, the tulip field itself has natural terrain that may be uneven and challenging for some guests using wheelchairs.
We ask that you arrive within the timeslot you selected during the booking process. This is to make sure everyone has the best possible experience at the tulip patch.
Yes, there will be portable toilets available at the event.
Please note no under 17s can enter the Tulip Patch without a Ticket holding Adult 18+ accompanying them at all times.
You are welcome to stay at the patch as long as you like. However, if you are causing any disruption to other guests, we reserve the right to ask you to leave.
With the exception of hazardous weather, the tulip patch will be open rain or shine! We recommend you come dressed for the weather on the day, and ready to experience the wonder of the great outdoors. There will be sheltered areas in case of rain. Come dressed for the weather.
We are a cashless site.
Our Tulip Patch will be open to the public from April 4th to April 27th.

You can buy a bundle ticket that admits you into both Hobbledown Heath and the Tulip Patch, or you can buy separate admission tickets Hobbledown Heath!

Disabled visitors are required to pay the full general admission rate but can bring a free carer over the age of 18.
To qualify for the free carer ticket, please provide one of the following at the entrance:
- Evidence of DLA/PIP payments
- Access Card
- National Disability Card or Carers Card
- Valid Blue Badge dated within the last 12 months
The free carer ticket will be issued upon arrival after eligibility is confirmed.
Yes! We will have a food vendor at the patch providing purchasable refreshments, along with other food and drink options available if you are also visiting Hobbledown Heath.
Please note that food and drink vendors may close as early as 4.30pm depending on opening times.

Yes, there will be vendors and child-friendly activities as part of the Twilight Tulips experience.
No, only registered assistance dogs are permitted.
The patch closes at 7pm, with last entry at 6pm. Weekend and school holiday opening hours are 11am – 7pm, while mid-week, term time hours are 12pm – 7pm. Please check the website for specific dates.
Yes, a variety of tulip-related products will be available for purchase, including fresh tulips and themed merchandise.
